I wouldn't do 3.23's at all with an 80e. It will be a total pig outta the hole at anything less than 8-10 lbs IMHO.

With a 4L80e I would go 3.42's and with a 6L80e I would do 3.23's.

If you plan on trapping more then 135 on the 1/4 dont do 4.10s, other wise 3.73 4.10 would be the best gear imo

yea it depends on your goals too.. If you want just a high 11 sec truck you could prolly go with any of them.

Look at what foose, stock48 and atomic are doin with 3.73s...

i rem stock48 saying the 3.73s were killing him cause he had to over rev it to trap it in the 140s?

im stickin with 3.42s cause they are already in there

Ride with the 4.10s and see how it does.. you might not wanna change if you like it.

I had 4.10s in my truck with the 60e right after the turbo and it felt pretty good, but now Im running a TH400 and 3.42's and I do not regret it one bit.

I ran with 4.10's for a good while when I first did my turbo and eventually swapped to 3.73's... Driveability was improved and I gained some mpg back, didn't lose anything performance-wise. I always wanted to try 3.42's but just never did.

With your truck having a small converter and some weight reduction I'd say 3.42's without a doubt, at least some 3.73's. With those 4.10's it's not going to make boost nearly as quickly.

+1 you will build boost a lot faster w/ 3.42's over the 4.10's. might drop your rpm at the 1/4 tho.

What MPH/RPM are you cruising at in 3rd with the TH400 and 3.42s? Also what size tire?
