So am I looking for LS3 headers/Flanges? After searching it seems like the 6.2l motor in my truck and the LS3 and 2010 Camaro both have LQ9 heads with round ports?

If there any great advantage to independent primaries all coming to a collector over a log style header in the long run? Because i think if i just got the correct flange with the stubs mounted on it already it would be fairly easy to turn it into a log style header that is functional, looks good, and takes up less space...

Thanks again for everyone who has contributed helpful information! I really appreciate it!

what " car companies" are you talking about for tubular headers?

I was thinking about just making log style headers...

What type of headers/ flange should I be looking for, for my 6.2l Sierra? LS1, LS3, LS7, LSX or....??
va speed has headers, i think speedinc has some, shearer fab has some, stainless works if you want to play you got to pay.

your 6.2 is no different then any other ls motor

Like quik said, the 6.2L heads has the same exhaust ports as most all the other heads in the LS line. The difference is usually seen in the intake ports, i.e chathedral or rectangular.
If I may make a suggestion...just flip the stock exhaust manifolds around and make your twins that way, plenty, plenty, plenty of people have done it that way and it has worked well. The stock truck mani's are prefered in the F-body's as well for those who build turbo's on the cheap. just FYI.

ill say this, there are a better positioned factory manifolds out there to use but not many caught on. i recently picked up a set of 2010 camaro manifolds and they are a 90* for the exhaust flange. this works out well since you can then have the turbos basically on top of manifold in a better position then the truck manis do. The flipped manifolds do work but sure is ugly way of doing it. Parish's twin kit used twin logs which looked good, then you have Kb who did a few twin kits and his looked good as well.

heres what mine looked liked

i dont have any pics of it installed yet as im still working on a few things, but this should give you an idea

at first i didnt like the headers but they grew on me. which this setup the turbos are placed differently then others have, makes routing of DP pretty simple

Quick... Yeah that's how I was planning on mounting mine to make routing the DPs easier...

I checked out the 2010 6.2l camaro manifolds and shorty headers... Thats probably the way i am going to go and if needed either modify them or use a stock 3bolt flange that mounts up to them with a pipe coming off of it with the T4 flange to put it in the exact location I want... But those look VERY symmetrical! Thanks for the heads up on those!

So far here is the parts list I have "Exceled" up... (I am a bit of a planning freak) Not including the headers of course, and I am sure there are other things I am going to have to get along the way so this is not complete by any means I am still working on it!

Another couple questions about the T60/ Ptrim/ .68 A/R Turbos...

1) What is the Inlet size on the compressor? 4"?
2) What is the Outlet size on the compressor? 2.5"?
3)What is the Outlet size on the Turbine? 3" V-band?
I know the inlet is T4 on the turbine, thats easy haha

Alright sounds good!

Do y'all think j should juststart with the FRPP 80lb injectors so I don't have to upgrade later... How much estimated peer can these handle on stock fuel system? What about fully upgraded?

How big of air filters should I be looking at to be as unrestrictive as possible yet still fit? I was thinking about A K&N that has 4" inlet/ 5.375" filter dia./ 6" long... Would that be big enough? If not how big?

These are the headers i am probably going to go with..

Those are BBK but I will prob go with PaceSetter 6.2l Camaro Shorty Headers... Then i decided instead of modifying them I am just going to take a three bolt flange and fab up piping ended with a T4 to put the turbos in a spot just like the ones quick posted, maybe a reverse if possible...

Like this:

Where depending on room the Turbos will be either on top of the extension pipes or hanging from them... the Intake will be inside and the downpipes outside so they do not heat up the chilled air coming from the IC... Should keep air intake temps down and also still be easy to route the downpipes! The air filters will either be attached directly onto the turbos like Quicks if there is enough room... If not extension pipes on those will route the air filters similar to picture above^^^^

Here is a pic similar to what I am talking about just in a car... but turbos would be opposite (turbine outside, compressor inside)

What yall think? Ideas...Opinions...
