Default Turbo set-up

i have an 08 silverado 1500 reg cab long box 4x4 with a 4.8 liter i want to put a turbo set up together that has lots of lower end power but still will be able to DD it. i wanna be around 350-400 horse but still able to tow lighter loads and plow snow. im wondering what kind of set up's there are to accomplish this any imput would be great actually

why so low of a goal? lets make it 500 to make it more interesting

I think you will like a nice 68 or 70mm

well with it only being a half ton 4x4 and the 60E in it i'd like to just keep it safe to drive and still enough power to have fun with. I figured i could do bolt on's and get the horsepower im looking for but nothing like the sound of a turbo. Plus still need it to pull and hopefully soon plow some too.

Why not get a nice supercharger like one of the tvs's?

Even a mp112 would give u more than the power u are lookin for with lots of low end power and torque. My buddy is selling an sts kit with a 67mm garrett turbo made 500hp on his truck with 8-10psi.

a 60-70mm would work for that application

The fun thing is getting the manifold for it,or having one built..Where do ya find them/have them built? I've been wanting to put a turbo on my 4.8 for along time, I forgot who it was but they ran adeal at the first of the year for like 1900 bucks complete turbo set-up without intercooler..

I have a non-intecooled turbo kit I will sell ya for $2500 shipped.

^^ that's all you need right there. 6-7psi will give you more then what your looking for and you can just keep timing low an early shift points
