Converter 101
thank everyone so much for post. talk to dave real nice guy. but he saying its cam not converter .i dont agree with that . think my brake hold descent .i feel i shouldn't have to fight a 3200 converter at 2300 rpm .when i release brake it flashes no were near 3200 .i leave line at 2600-2800 on two step .it take off with no flash . i know that not right . as as lean or rich .i tried both 9.6 and 17.2 made no differece 128kpa (4lbs) ,i am going take it where i have the 6 cars i worked on to ACC IN CONWAY SOUTH CAROLINA . I have good power on 11lbs 1/8 mile 99mph and 1/4 mile 123 at 4400lbs .that why i dont its the cam

It's par for the corse.
There's no right or wrong.
Cam co. blames Convertors guy
Convertors guy blames cam guy
Transmission guys blame tuners
Tim it's the blame game. Nothing new in hot rodding.
If you want more stall ask for a higher stall then what you have. It's just a number at the end of the day. Just like a 6psi spring yields different boost on different builds.
Your building power.
Brakes won't hold it pushes through.
Given it more power without holding power you will still push through.
Raising the stall (making it looser) will allow you to leave at a higher rpm.
But your brakes will still only hold X power.

Probable could be a little looser, but its a fine line with a turbo stall. Once you get high enough RPM to light the turbo, It will start making boost fast and power will go up real quick and push the stall way up. A 3200 converter goes to a 3800+ converter real quick!!
