Default Turbo Taco Manifold

Just finished building a stainless manifold for my buddies Toyota Tacoma, figured I would share with you all.

T3/T-04E .57/.48
38mm Tial Wastegate
3" DP now
Supra 440cc Injectors
W58 Supra Trans
6 puck clutch
STOCK TUNE lol

The OLD manifold:

The Truck:

The start:

Getting ready to weld:

Welded up:

In the truck and ready to roll: NOTE the dryer tubing is just temporary. Waiting on some Aluminum bends and some silicone couplers to come in so we can finish up the intake side

Truck is a blast to ride in. He said it runs mid 13's IIRC on his old setup but with no traction at all. Almost makes me want to pick one up and throw a turbo setup together for myself.

Awesome job of doing it yourself, did you use an acetylene torch to take off the turbo from the old manifold!!
The angle of the primaries for number 1 and number 4 cylinders scare me a little though. Let us know how she does!!

sweet! I used to have a TRD supercharger on my v6 taco and wifes 4-runner. They were still slow but alot better than stock. I never got far enough with it to add fuel though. i think it was before they had the 7th injector for them. Nice work btw!

Why does the angle scare you? This was my first turbo manifold so I am no expert, more of a fabricator lol. I did try to keep the primaries about as equal length as possible. They are within an inch.

He has been daily driving the p1ss out of it and has a few thousand miles on it now over the last couple of months.

Thanks

My dad has a TRD supercharger on his v6 tundra. It really woke it up but I wouldn't really consider it fast.

Thanks.

The runners were welded with 308 and the main flange was welded with 309 since it is mild steel.
