Default Turbo tuning recommendations!

I have been doing some more research on how to get my turbo silverado tuned and scoggin dickey told me to use Vengeance Racing over by Atlanta so I called them it would pretty much cost me around $1000 but they would have the truck for around a week and would tune it on the street and then on the dyno I feel very confident in them the only thing that bothers me is I think my truck is already a ticking time bomb would any of you guys recommend me to them!

There are many different tuners and in your case i would suggest a local dyno tuner because you havent had any luck with others i assume. My truck is tuned my Justin @ bbp and i have had a few small problems but nothing major. He always takes care of me and gets me back on the road pretty quick! There are several that are good. some people swear by futural in la, other like running with the devil in mobile or xxx in i think pensacola, fl. All are reputable shops but then again anyone could mess it up.
As far as ticking time bomb......we all are but the tune has as much to do with the longevity of the motor as well as the components that are added.

Prolly not much help but good luck!

lmao, yes he has, I tuned it and as far as I was told it's right on, his maf was the issue all along, he replaced it and now the a/f ratio is at 11.5 at wot and under boost, decent timing, no knock, this was with the same pcm/tune that was supposedly the culprit of all his tuning issues in the past.
he then had it retuned again by a local tuner, but had all kinds of codes.
i don't understand why he wants more power out of the truck, but is concerned it's a ticking time bomb.
the next tuner is just going to increase timing and and make it more aggressive, which just brings it closer to being on the edge.

to be honest, i have no idea why he wants to spend more money on tuning!

ryan, this is not a bashing reply, I just honestly don't understand what you're asking.
If the truck is running fine, which is the last report I was given, leave it alone and enjoy the extra power. The more you turn it up the more complicated things become.

good luck on your tuning decision and if you need a retune you know what to do.
