if your only getting 12mpg you have other problems. My truck is a crew cab, 4x4 on 285's and I still manage to pull off 15-16 on the highway and 12 in town. My truck recently messed up on me up in Wyoming. I thought it might have been the speed density tune since it was tuned in Texas and theres a huge difference in altitude, temp ect. Turns out it wasn't the tune at all, and the only reason I posted on here was I don't know **** about tunes and if they acted up to differences in temp and what not. Like everybody else said you gotta pay to play. Thats part of having a modified truck. Mine has been all over the us and has ran great until recently. **** happends. I'm taking mine to Allens shop when I get home so he can check it out and get it squared away. Allen was very helpful over the phone and with PM's. Blownchevy, that last post sounds like something you would tell the cops haha.

I really think these guys are on to something with the cat. I think it's time to take a look at that....cats on a high powered setup probably aren't gonna last too long, even if they are high flow. You'd probably be a lot better off removing it/them.
