Nelson Makes a 2000HP twin turbo BBC and FMOS Racing is running a turbo Big block in his lightning. Also STS makes kit's for BBC. Well at least I've seen them on a few trucks before.

What kind of blocks are they using for 2000 HP big blocks? I was told to look for the 512 casting which apparently is an early 70's LS6 Chevelle SS block or a 289 casting. Just browsing ebay I found a few of each for around 1600 to 2000 for just the block. I can't imagine how much difference there would be between those blocks and a Gen V block.

I should of mentioned it wasn't Nelson (our sponsor) but a company out here in SoCal that builds racing engines. Sorry if there was any confusion. I'd post up a link but they are not sponsor so here's the info from their site...This is from their twin turbo set-ups.

I was trying to find a link on youtube to post up their vids but youtube is down for some reason. So instead of posting their link I would just say go to Google home and type in Nelson racing engines. Their site should pop up and check out their vids. Guy's going 20mph in 3rd gear and floors it and loses traction.
Ahhhh must be nice!

PS hope that doesn't violate forum protocall.

I figure we could put it in a RCSB and leave it looking stock and just trade every other weekend. You know for sure we'd break 9's and more than likely 8's with it!! Lol
