Why is it I can find small block turbo header setups in both twins and singles but I can't find jack for big blocks?

there are some... search gale banks... he has some of the best turbo stuff


I have gale banks turbo manifolds on my boat.... its a 532 c.i. bbc

its a lil quick


my buddies 19' V drive has a 502 TT with draw thru demon 1150 carb.... he is running gale banks hardware and a w2a intercooler setup

oh yeah his is faster than mine then again his has a turbo 400


i kill him to about 75 then he jumps and is gone..... i am in dire need of more than one gear!!!

I think TieRod had an STS on his 8.1L....but i think he blew it up.....LOL. I think like most said, you can get as much and more power out of the small blocks without having to worry about the weight issues. You get into steering, suspension, brakes, and a few other things probably when you add the weight of the big block to your project. I think a turbo or S/C big block is great for towing (with the allison) and it makes an otherwise heavy *** truck much more fun to drive, but for performace....you really have to go with the small block. As far as I know "Raylar" makes some tried and true bolt-ons for the BBC.
