Tvs 1900
Thinking about going with a TVS 1900 for my truck. What do you guys think? Also, where is the best place to buy this system? Magnacharger, or is there a better option as far as a dealer out there?

If your talking about installing this blower on the truck in your sig then i dont think it would be all that efficient. With the hot cam set up looks like your going for the N/A route. Some one correct me if im wrong

Also wondering if the 1900 is the best choice for me. What is the power potential of a 5.3 with the tr220 cam and the 112 head unit? I'm sure someone out there knows. Prob looking somewhere around 8-10 pounds of boost. Also, is the 1900 better for towing? (as far as underhood temperatures go)

The Power potential is however far you want to go, with 8-10 pounds you should be happy. The 1900 from what i hear is a bad *** blower, havent experienced it yet but one day i will.. Just remember a blower will make big power, power that a stock trans wont put up with for very long

There are several things to look at when picking a supercharger. What is your intended application? What is your intended outcome?
The TVS1900 can and does make great power.
The TVS1900 is just as good as the MP112 for towing.
Take a look around the new classic TVS1900 is out and everyone loves it. I would recommend a different cam like a GT2-3 or other cam that is designed around making power with a positive displacement supercharger. If you want a bigger cam then try a LEP MagnaCharger cam with more lift and duration. Feel free to call anytime.

It is a custom grind from Leading Edge Performance in Vegas (LS1tech Sponsor) that we work with alot. Garth is a great guy and has great customer support. He can sell it as a complete package with everything needed right down to the gaskets. I run this same cam in the TBSS and SSR in the links below.

No issues at all in any we have installed. The cam is actually quite tame and idles at 725-750 no problem at all. No loss in drivability and it makes great power. Just make sure you purchase all the parts needed like springs (good to .650 lift) to pushrods.
