Top fuel dragsters run 100+ psi with roots blowers. Granted theres not a lot of 'em cruising the streets but they get **** done in the power department.

I agree. The screw type is compressing the air all the time. Roots blowers aren't putting off extra heat unless they are boosting.

I agree. The screw type is compressing the air all the time. Roots blowers aren't putting off extra heat unless they are boosting.
Top fuel cars run a max of about 75 psi..

It will make a 1000fwhp with the right setup $$$. Don't think 434ci's are needed to get there either. Better than a turbo any day

I'd have to agree. But I like the simplicity of the blower vs. a turbo. You gota love feeling the kick of TQ as the turbo spools up though.
