Exactly what I was thinking.. I am sure it can be done, but what will it cost vs a turbo or other FI set up. Then how reliable will it be, when working that blower that hard.. Didn't somebody break a jack shaft on a tvs2300 already?? Also if you are set on going with a roots stlye, what about the huge 4.x whipple??

How is a 4.0 twin screw vs a TVS 2300 even a comparison? Try the TVS 2300 vs an old whipple 2.3L

Who compared them?? I just stated that for 1000 hp it might be a bit easier to get the 1000 out of a 4.xL whip

well from what I've discovered 780fwhp is right at the meat of where the TVS2300 starts to make power. 1000hp is there and it would take some work but I imagine it's not that far off either......in fact, I'd venture to say it will happen sometime this year

no clue on that one.....due to the mixed reviews and mainly because it was an improvement on the Eaton case and not the Magnuson stuff I sort of lost track

now that I'm back on shore duty, time to start having some more fun

3.4L or 4.0L should be able to get it done. 1000 at the crank is what 800 to the ground.? on our trucks?

Looking forward to seeing what happens.

Glad it's someone else's money on the quest for a thousand. Think I'll just keep enjoying my measly 650 to 750 (flywheel). I'll stay tuned though. I love a good story with a happy ending

X2. Happy endings are the best!

I would love to see someone break 1K hp on a TVS.
