Default TVS loosing boost

Wondering if some are having issues with their TVS.
I'm loosing boost at 4500RPM and up.
Pulley is a 3.3". Ussually I hit 5 psi.
Let's say I do a quarter mile run....
fiirst gear,hammer down, 5psi till 4500RPM,boost moves down to bout 2 psi.Shift at 5800RPM to second,after the shift,it jumps to 5 psi again,till 4500 RPM range,it drops again till 2,etc.......

I think it's the belt that is slipping.I'm running the factory TVS belt tensioner.
Wonder if the HD upgrade will cure the issue.

TVS was installed on truck about 4 months ago.Just started to notice it in the last couple of weeks.

If so,quinda weird that the belt is slipping at only 5psi setup.

What do you think?

Left a message to Brian, waiting for his opinion as well.

Thanks for now.

are you reading a gauge or looking at a graph in your logs? Some fluctuation I see as normal throughout the rpm range but I see ~1lbs variation maybe. Doubt it's belt slip with that big pulley but the HD tensioner is a much better unit IMO.

I'm looking at the gauge. Also if I had no gauge,it's noticable when the boost drops.

Was not doing that until last couple of weeks.

I know it's quinda weird with that big saucer on the blower.I wouldn't want to try a smaller one for sure.........

Are you running the HD on yours?

If everything is OK, I wouldn't expect belt slip at 5 psi if I can squeeze 18 out of an 8 rib on dual 1900s. Where is the tensioner sitting at in its range of travel? Have any of the idler pulley bolts loosened up? No signs that the belt is walking on and off the pulleys (starting to cut through the belt between the ribs)?

If the pulley is not pinned, check that pulley bolt. Mine spun loose on the old Radix/5.3, but that was at more than 5 psi.

Got a new crank bolt.I also ordered a ATI crank pin kit.I might as well do it at the same time and be done with it.
Actually, the blower puller is a 3.4" and not a 3.3" that I'm running on it now.
