Default TVS Suburban results

damn, where did I put that dyno graph.

jk.

Vehicle: '08 Suburban 3/4ton, 6L/6sp, tvs1900, exactly 5psi.

One thing I've been noticing about these TVS units is, these sob's just keep pulling and pulling.
This stock Suburban is pulling up to 6500rpms.

Horsepower: 386 @ 6318 rpms
Torque: 364 @ 4491 rpms
(with more than 300+ torque down low).

(updated below 396HP)

These chargers remind me of a centrifgul type, they just keep pulling; something they never did in the past.
According to GM and the cam specs, this cam is obviously out of it's power range, but with the TVS, it pulls like it has a mild cam in it (as far as peak power).

I'm kicking myself for not dyno'n this truck stock, but the guys had it pulled apart and the laying on the engine before I even got in that morning.
Anyone have a dyno chart or numbers from a similar truck on a superflow dyno?
I'm guessing it would be around 250-265hp to the wheels.

Back to the dyno, there's still a few more degrees of timing left and a/f ratio is on the safe side.

later,
allen

Nice...can't wait for the dyno graph.

How is the off-idle torque as compared to the MP112?

after we did my blower, when of course we didn't get a before number either, the guys grabbed another customer's 07 2500 GMC crewcab adn threw that on the dyno it hit around 275 and I forget the torque before the speed limiter kicked in, in third, on a dynojet.

Torque is ok, it's less than a 112 or 122, but more than makes up for it immediately.
This big ol heavy thing will turn the tires over 3-5 times, then take off. It won't burn out, but it'll squeel'em; something it would have never done before the charger.
Oh ya, it does have slightly bigger tires on it, but not much.

I'll get the graph online soon,
allen

That is the character of a larger blower on these engines. The tq may be 25-30 ft pounds down in the lower RPM's (off idle to 2500 rpm). I think I mentioned that in the past

I"m guessing we're talking a nice 24-28 fter......I wanna hear the feedback on that my truck hasn't been the happiest in heat with the big trailer on temps....

he'll definitely test it out, he tows his drag car to the track and bonneville quite a bit.

As far as heat, the tvs just doesn't heat up. While it's on the dyno all this time, iat's never reach over 109degs! That's with back to back runs and 72deg outside.

I'll try to get some feedback posted when I see him for the next round of mods.

396 HP, I'm stopping, just doesn't have anymore.

I bet if I had the stock tires on it, I would have gotten my 400hp!
