Are you sure you have a truck balancer? IIRC, Innovators West has different ones for F-bodies, GTOs, and trucks. Spacing is all a lilttle different. So if you got an F-body or GTO balancer, that could be the problem. Got a part number from the balancer?

Also as mentioned above, is the blower pulley on the correct way? You can put them on backwards.

Definately sounds like a pulley mis-alignment issue. Possibly an install error, or use of incorrect parts. If it wants to jump 2 grooves to "self-realign", then it should be pretty easy to see where the problem is.
