TVS1900 or TVS2300
Hi all your FI guys.
Planning to go FI with my Avalanche soon, and maybe even my wife's TBSS(but don't tell her).
Anyway for the TBSS,they have the TVS1900 available,so will have to go with that one.Future mods could be a mild cam,headers,cat-back to help the TVS1900.Keep it very streetable but fun to drive.Wonder if the wife will notice,lol....
But for my Avalanche, they suggested the TVS2300.My Avalanche is an 04,I installed a LQ9 6.0L with a 208/212 Comp cam .554/.558 lift 115*(I know ,the cam seems to be quite small, might go a little bigger, but seems to work pretty good),Corsa sport exhaust.1.75" dynatech headers,LS6 springs,42 lbs injectors.Stock 1.4 mile at 17.8's, now at 15.6's.I know, the tranny & converter will need some work to lower ET's and durability pretty soon.lol....But it's holding up so far.
I would think the TVS1900 would be plenty, because I think my wife's LS2 is more motor than my LQ9.
I'll be doing my own tuning,I also use a wideband. So far,I've gotten good result, but I'm known to be on the safe side of tuning.
And last thing, any special person that you guys talk to over at Magnacharger ?Just asking,I was talking to one early this week ,seems to know his stuff.
Thanks in advance.

Without a doubt, hands down, do the 2300 on both, only about 500 bucks difference now (used to be a $1500 difference) I've got a 1900 on my LQ9 with a 3.0" pulley and can only muster 7lbs of boost at sea level. I wish I had gone 2300 now, and you will need to step up those 42lb injectors as well. 60lbers come with the 2300.
