Default Twin 72 414 01 silverado

I used to hang out a bunch on the old LS1 Tech truck section and then a bit on the performancetrucks site it turned into under the blownyellow screen name.

My business has been taking up more of my personal time than I care to admit, but I figured I would get back into it now that I have freed up some personal time again.

The old combo was a supercharged 408, but 3 years later after the tear down, The blue beast is is almost on its feet again.

I went with a 414 with twin 72s this time around. It is a 4 wheel drive select truck with a 40 spline Dana 60, fully built front diff, one off custom T-case with custom chains and sprockets, full built 4l80e, Baer 15 inch 6 pistons, and many other extras for most that probably don't remember the truck.

Anyways, I figured I should start posting back up on the board again since the truck is almost done and I am back in the scence.

Here are some progress pics for you guys.

The hot side is built out of 316 stainless. The intercooler is made of 2 PT 900 HP cores for an efficient air to air 1800HP intercooler. The truck is running dual Meth systems with the plan to cover 30 percent of the full boost fueling with straight Meth on top of the AN fed dual 255 racetronics in-tank.

The truck is also running the new NOS boost referanced touch screen progressive contoller with a 250 shot launching of a 3,500 converter with a regressive shot that is set up to drop 10 HP per pound of boost to a max 25psi pump gas boost.

And back in after mock, finish welding, coating, and engine assembly for the last time (Hopefully, LOL).

I think 8's would be a stretch with this thing coming in at around 5,300 pounds once the bar is in minus driver..... I would be happy with anything sporting a 9 in front of it in street trim in 4 wheel drive on the 305/20 Nitto Drag radials all around.

I do plan on getting frustrated with trying to hook it in 4by, and will surely run it with a huge by tall full slick in 2 wheel drive. With the Dynatrac 40 spline Dana 60 out back, it will laugh at full boost launches even at the fat *** weight it is going to drag down the track.
