There was a lawsuit involved and Martin didnt show up a couple of times and the OP was awarded 21K by the courts and some of the other customers won as well.
Just a heads up for any locals looking to get some tuning / engine work.

Martin promised me 800 WHP in my Escalade. I gave him a cheque for $20,000 and my Suburban. He was to order a 3.3L Whipple supercharger, an FLT Stage 5 4L80E, all parts required to stroke the trucks 6.2L to 418 cubic inches. Wheels, Tires, Suspension. etc. All this work was to be completed by September 2008.
What do I have to show for our plans? A beat up suburban, which he returned after driving it for 6 months and a $20,000 lighter bank account. He ordered NONE of the parts and when I asked for my money back he says, "I might take me a little while to come up with that kind of money".
I have a lawyer involved.

Sucks, winning a case and being paid is two different things.
Warning to everyone. Never give someone a bunch of money without seeing something first. A quality shop will ask for some up front, but if they have your truck that amount should be even less.
I really hate reading about people getting screw'd like this.
