Do a little research on how much it would cost to purchase an intercooler (absolutely mandatory at least in the Southwest) and have a professional fab the intake and charge ducting. Silicone couplers are not cheap. Also add up what injectors are going to cost as well as fuel upgrades depending on what your output expectations are. Probably want some nice headers and a free flowing exhaust. Add tuning as well...
... and absoutely confirm a warranty on the head units...
That would give you a bit more of an idea of what realistic is. It would also be prudent to ask W2W about power curves on this kit as they relate to the size of your engine given proper drive ratio... meaning does it hit hard down low like a Maggie or is it more progressive like a Procharger or Vortech. What are your expectations?
Nice kit though...

billreid is right Id add at least 2k onto that price but, on the flipside 7k for 1000hp is cheap if w2w says it doable then Id believe them.
In the end though your gonna need a built motor, full exhaust and trans that can hold up to 1000hp that setup isnt a slap on and go like the radix. then with some traction Id be thinking about a 9" rear and the list goes on........and on..... and on......

yea i figured it wouldnt just be 5k for 1000hp thats too easy..i would probably never do it cuz for some reason i just cant hold onto that kinda cash without finding a cheaper mod to do instead.... i could get a 4link or caltracs then i'd need a 4l80 and yes on and on and on etc just thought that imagining twin chargers would be sweet....(drooling)

Very hard to get it to work since the way W2W is routing it on their Nova they are putting twin air to water intercoolers one behind each tire in the fender. And the piping runs through the firewall and out the front into a reverse facing throttle body.

W2W seemed to be more excited about those superchargers when they were initially looking at them. I'd like to see a dyno with them to see where the power comes on. Centrifugals don't excite me much since they have the downsides of both turbos (lag) and superchargers (parasitic loss). Seems there are better answers to the 1000HP question out there, like turbo(s), the 3.3L Whipple, etc.

If you're after the cool-factor of a twin, I understand, but you can support a lot more than 1000hp with a single Vortech,Procharger, and some others. Rotrex (new kid in the market) as yet doesn't make a large trim single charger and I get the feeling this is an interim offering. You have double the problems with a twin and since it's so new, I think you would be on your own with any problems. Their new no gears bearing technology looks promising, but personally I don't want to be the lab rat while it's all sorted out. I don't care for the big aluminum plate in front of the engine around which IMO would interfere with cooling. If you have the money and time to be a ground-breaker that's great, but if you want dependable and cheap, I think this may disappoint.
