turned out real nice guys. how much did the blankets help? where did you end up putting the coolant reservoir? or can i just not see it there?

Thanks,
Blankets are a must on this setup, helped out a lot on the single too, definitely recommend it.
We used a small hotrod 3" by 12" cylindrical reservoir for the tank, it's mounted next to the radiator, like the old hotrods have.

Hitting the track this wed.

Did some initial tuning on the dyno yesterday, over 638hp on 10psi!
100shot went over 700hp.

15psi will be max on this setup, I think we can reach out 800hp goal.

later,
allen

I didn't say I did an official dyno, I just took note of what it was laying down while tuning.

So, 800hp from a stock cube 6L? What is so far off about that?
I know ppl want to see outrageous numbers, but you're only asking for 50hp more lol, it's not like it's 200hp off.

Like I said, I was only tuning it and just took note of some of the numbers I recorded, and I never took the truck over 6K rpms during tuning.

geeez,

I guess if I had posted it made 800hp, nobody would have said, "800hp only" " I would have expected at least 875hp"

This isn't directly towards you Trick, but it's just nuts how someone posts hp numbers and most of the time it's not what the forum wants, or when someone posts their cam grind, the comment is "well, you should have gone 114" or "I would have gone 2degs less on the intake" LMAO!

Once I'm done tuning and start messing with the timing more and testing it out, it'll lay down over 850hp!

Blankets function to retain heat or remove from engine bay? Perhaps I missed it.
