Not a good idea from what I've been told to use them on any kind of boosted situations. I have never tried using them on my turboed car, but all the turbo gods I'm associated with and the guy that built mine, they stay away from them. I guess they don't hold up too well.

they tend to expand a little too much for turbo applications and may even blow out in high boost applications. but it is funny you mention this becouse i went to romainia and we had a opel rental that had a little like 1.7 desiel in it with a turbo and i poped the hood and what do i find ....... you guest it radiator looking hose from the turno to the intercooler then to the in take i was like wtf but i guess it worked not to mention the turbo was about as big around as my fist.

I dont know how well that would work, but after spending ALL day trying to weld piping together I realized 2 things, 1. that you cant cut this crap (stainless pipe) with a sawzall and get a straight enough cut to weld and 2. Im a shitty welder. I'll probably have to buy another $200 in mandrel bends and a new chop saw thing.
Point is I would try it.

well if your willing to spend $200.00 on new pipe already bent.
why not take it to a muffler shop, let them do it out of 2.5 inch pipe.
it will be coustom made for your set up, and later on down the road,
you can have it cleaned and crome diped.
i have already talked to a guy and got a price of 120.00 for 2.5 inch pipe,
4 sections for easy disassembly and a bung for my by pass valve.
it will be coustome made for my set up that will fit like a glove.
