I love this idea. I had been thinking the same thing, using it on another build with an F1. Until I made the 4.8 my primary engine again lol.

Wouldn't a F1/4.8 combo be a real dog without a 4000+ stall speed?

I really wish Brian woulda thrown that D1 on the canyon carver, woulda liked to have seen the results.

It may, I'm not to sure. Could always pulley it a little harder and run a waste gate on it so you hit higher boost early and bleed it off so you dont make 30# s. sounds good in theory in my head at least haha

Displacement blowers do well, but not in a cam'd geard app... They just don't or have not posted the times of other stuff. Everyone goes the turbo route, good reason being they are fast. i have always been with PC so I will stay there. I like to stay out of the box, but PC chit runs well also

Its no doubt a procharger works. Hell there are f1r going 4.80s in the 1/8 @ something like 3100# in x275. What got me on this kick is my tuner just went 10.01 in a tbss. It put down 1033 to the wheels on f1r.

Side note, the one in classifieds may be mine today... :x

also to comment on the positive displacement blowers like I got now. This thing is awesome for everyday driving, it just works! I was really surprised at how it worked at the track also. Like all of us I wasn't totally satisfied, prob never will be, but I don't have a whole lot more room to go. I could throw an od crank pulley on but I dont want to start having belt problems even though I think I could make something to stop slippage. Aside from that I wanted to try to go 10s with it, another 4# and nitrous maybe would get me there. My 11.84 pass is prefect conditions, if I went on a regular night it would go 11.9 12.0 so it really is a lot of ground to be made up. I wish this would have fit on the dyno I wanna know what its making

I'd think you gotta be in the 500s even through the 80E.

when we tuned my truck on the street my tuner/buddy said he thinks around 480-500 based off of injector duty cycle. when i told him it trapped 115 at 5050# we looked at the numbers and it should take about 560 to do that, mind you the DA was negative by a lot so it would correct to be lower. we tried to dyno it at his shop and the truck was too low to fit, we could have made it work by driving up on ramps but it was a dyno day and would take to long to mess with it.
