ive changed my mind and im going to look into getting a magnacharger now lol thanks everyone.. does any one know how much hp i would get with my mods and a magnacharger? and does anyone know a website that has them cheap??????

I would think you would make between 375-400 rwhp with 8-9 psi. I just ordered a magnacharger 112 about a week ago and Im going to start putting it on tomorrrow. You can order the maggie 112 straight from magnacharger for $4250! Just talk to brain or you can ussally find a used kit for around $3000 but be careful with buying a used kit. I was looking at a used kit for $2500 but it was missing around $1000 in parts.
Good luck and I definatly think your making a good move going with the magnacharger!

I'm doubly confused. 5.3's are making 300+ NA. A 4.8L making close to 400 RWhp sounds about right to me with 8lbs boost, maybe a tad low but we can attribute that to Dyno differences but a 5.3L with 8lbs boost making 325?? I dont think so. Must have 35" tires and a 3.23 final gear.

Ya, I too think a Maggie is the way to go. OP, Maggie is normally rated on a stock truck. Throw a TVS1900 on, & have some fun. I think Maggie claims 135HP. Like AKlow said, enuff to find the local cops. The Macomb Sheriff will know your home address by heart.

What type of dyno? You should be making a lot more with the 5.3. I would think at least 350 to the wheels. My 397hp is at the wheels. Who does your tuning?
Everyone on here seems to like the maggies so I guess go with that. You cant feel the vortech unless you really get on it. Maggies have power throughout I think.
