what year F150? and od you have electric fans or the clutch fan still? my fan shroud is bulky, looks like that intercooler almost wouldnt fit. also, what piping in your pictures came with the f150 kit? can you take a picture from the passenger side? trying to see how that thing flows... looks like the n/a intake and charge intake both pass through that box?

the box is just part of the air intake, not nesesary, you can have your own set up, its just a dress up piece that comes with it, the intercooler is behind my grill, ill include a pic of that. i dont think it gives a certain year for f150, its just one kit for kit. I figured the truck is around the same dimensions so i bought that one. in this pic, you can see the 90's in the ss bumper, left feeds the intercooler and right feeds the the maf/throttle body. you would probably need electric fans, mine is tight as it is, unless you buy the kit, make your own set up, and you can buy individual pieces you may need to get the curves you want. ill try to get more pics under the truck tomorrow for you so you can see the routing.

also in the above pic, you can see where i had the black box removed and intake piping in place of it, its just a square intake tube instead of round, no purpose behind it.

gotcha... ill have some time to think before tax returns come in about the intercooler setup. right now im focused on gathering the rest of the parts.... is this kit supposed to come with a different crank pulley? or just the stock pulley used? also, is it at all possible for you to take a pick of your oil feed setup? like where the lines tap into the motor. im missing the entire oil feed setup and trying to figure out what to do there. thats pretty much my main concern right now to get out of the way. the rest should be pretty easy.

you will use your stock crank pulley. here some pics, behind front bumper, the oil lines, and intercooler pipes in front of motor.

will this oil "sandwich" block work for my app? got some money built up and want to get this thing going on my truck and tuned within a month. if you didnt read the last 3 pages, i have a vortech v2 setup missing the oil system and fuel pump. right now im trying to focus on the oil setup as i know what to do with the fuel system...

also, i was going to do the walboro 255 in tank pump mod, but came across this trex pump that looks almost like a direct repalcement... would it be worth buying the trex or just go ahead with the walboro?

alright well... ive saved up around $4,000 to use at my will... so im going to try to get this going with about $1,000-$1,500... im ordering an Aeromotive 340, and once its daylight tomarrow ill measure for an intercooler and grab a ebay kit with piping and bov... i tried to look it over with what daylight i had left tonight and its going to be tough to find an intercooler thats going to work without having one... because im working with this big hunk of metal here...

also... is this the stock vortech pulley? guy told me the truck made 12lbs when he was running it. it says the pulley diameter is 2.87 and its kind of a greyish-purple anodized color and not black like on vortechs website...

looks like its a smaller pulley good for around 10-14lbs of boost... i ordered my 340 pump today! do i need to order a 2.5" or 3" intercooler piping kit? im going to go with a bar and plate type intercooler about 25"x8" or so core size...
