I had thesame problem with over boosting and then I moved the wastegate to blow to the ground and it works fine. I think there is to much back pressure in the exhaust I'm going to try to take the muffler off and see if it works without the muffler

Check to see if the diaphram is leaking(It could be leaking more when it is hot). If it isn't leaking, check the PSI at the wastegate when the boost is climbing. If it isn't climbing at the wastegate like your gauge, you need a better place to tap into for your wastegate. If it is climbing like your gauge, the wastegate or something behind it is too restrictive. How big is your wastegate? Do you have it vented back in the exhaust system?
