Synapse here, 2 springs that cover almost any conceivable combo and 3 different ports you can use to adjust boost without even using a controller. 2 different seat sizes and No diaphragms!

Just talked to JGS and they said to put the standard spring in there and run a hose from the top port to the compressor housing. Then run another hose from the compressor housing to the end of the mbc and the perendicular fitting out of the mbc to the lower gate port. I have nothing to the compressor housing port wise. I have a vacuum block that's fed off the manifold. He said that won't work as the wastegate should only see boost and no vacuum.
Any of you agree with that? I so I'll have to drill a hole in the compressor housing.

Nah it shouldnt matter if it sees vac. Tial told me the same thing but tons of people run it of the intake manifold.

See my thread here, a couple diagrams. It's for an EBC but the idea is the same.

Turbosmart also says to use a pressure only source. I will be tapping into the compressor housing on mine.

I've sold probably 50 JGS WG or more... Only ever had issues with 2 maybe 3 of them. Even JGS said they had never seen anything like what happened to yours... I have a JGS 50mm on my truck and never had any issue with it

Well the only problem was that the 4 bolts that hold the hat on backed out and destroyed the diaphragm. I think that I am just unlucky

Where on the compressor housing should I be drilling and tapping? How big? Like a 90* 1/4" barbed fitting, 1/8" npt?
