trying to determine what size wastegate i need? how does one go about doing this?

cammed 5.3 76mm turbo and probably around 14-15psi
im assuming the saying "bigger is better" applys here?

What 76mm turbo?
And are you dump waste gate to atmosphere and how big of an exhaust are you gonna run.

The higher the boost the less wastegate you need...
a 38mm will probably be fine for that, but a 50mm wouldnt be bad

you can run the 3" but id dump the wastegate to the atmosphere or run a muffler on it..

what do think the hp limits are with 3" and the wastegate dumping into it

you just start getting boost creep.. and then it cant flow enough as it is so the boost keeps on creeping up from the backpressure..
i have no clue on the HP limits.
