Default Water/Meth kit on a NA 6.0L

I was just wondering if there is anyone out there who has put the water/meth kit on a N/A 6.0L, or on any N/A V8? And was it worth it?

I thought the meth kits were only for boost applications...

thats what i thought too,

I also thought that until i researched more. I was looking on the snow performance web site they have a stage 1 kit and a stage 1 NA aswell as a stage 2 and stage 2 NA, and it says right on the description its for naturally aspirated. It makes sense to me that you can simply cause if the water/meth ups your octane and cools your intake you can run a more advance timing table, correct me if i'm wrong. You guys should check it out maybe theres something i'm missing here.

IMO it would only be needed on a NA vehicle if you were running a lot of compression, hence the need to add octane.....

You do not have to be forced induction to run water/meth. The benefits are lowered IAT, running more timing, and added HP. The critical parameter is what percentage of meth are you running-you can use 35% washer fluid all the way to straight meth. There are several systems out to choose from.

I wonder if you could get EFI Live COS#5 to run in reverse and add timing and fuel when Meth is triggered?

I'm obviously not expecting the same gains as you would from a FI engine, but overall do you guys think it would be a positive addition. I also have HP tuners, so that should help the potential of the water/meth kit!

How much timing are you running at WOT?

I'm sure you could do it that way, with these kits you can either set them up on a manual switch or to come on at the desired MAP kPa or MAF freq. So once you know that you could adjust your fuel and timing above that point.
