Hey guys,
I think I'm going to go ahead and put my kbracing kit on my HD rather than my rcsb for some undisclosed reasons.
But I don't want to dump a ton of money into the HD to run this Turbo,

I hate tablets with a passion!!!!!!
OK basically I'm going to pick up a aeromotive 340 fuel pump, either 60 or 80# injectors, a lmc 1 WB, and some trick e-fans.
But my question is how will the stock 80e converter work with my s480?
Thanks
Kody

My old 05 ccsb on 35's was a very basic build.
Stock 70k mile 6.0/4l80e and x-fer case on 35's
KBRacing MP70mm front mount kit with nitroplated hotside
Z06 valve springs
Walbro in tank 255 pump
Motron 50lb injectors
Truck was awesome to drive, instant boost. On 7lbs it made 432rwhp and on 12lbs made 528 running outta fuel.

That's exactly the goals I'm after, if i could make 550 out of this truck I would be extremely pleased.
I just don't want to drop a while ton of money on this truck to make it run fast when I have a rcsb that is my main go fast truck.

Since you don't want to send a ton of money I would just run the factory converter and put a shift kit in the transmission. 60# injectors will be plenty for your goals. You could even build the IC piping around the clutch fan to save some more cash but efans make everything look cleaner.

Yeah I know the stock TC is not the best choice, but the cheapest aftermarket TC is $750ish.
I'm gonna order the e-fans maybe at the end of the week.
What are a good set of 60#15" injectors that are pretty much plug and play?

Some of the 80e's actually have a converter that stalls higher than others (I think they are in the vans) but I bet you would have to buy the complete trans in order to get it. As for the injectors, I don't think that there is a plug and play set of 60# injectors unless some company modified an injector with the factory mini Delphi Tech 2 connectors to flow at 60lbs. I went with Siemen's 60lb ls1 injectors because there is plenty of injector data out there for them. To run these you will have to make spacers for the fuel rails and get mini delphi to EV1 style adapter harness for the injectors.

I know of some good quality converters under $750 for the 4L80E. The Street Edge 4L80E converter by Edge racing converters starts at only $585. He will custom config the converter to your needs and that series would be more than enough to handle your power goals. The pro edge line is a little over $750 though. A lot of guys on other sites use them with no issues.
