IVe been doin some reading about the 160* Tstat on a FI application..
Obvisouly it should let the engine run cooler which in turn will help any Detenation..
Can someone help me understand this and if its a worthy mod?
Its for the Truck in my Sig
Thanks guys!
Oh and i live in Mississippi.... it gets pretty hot in the summer... and its kindof cold in the winter..
Ive been told that the heater wont be as warm as with the stock Tstat... maybe because of the higher Temp Tstat...

I don't think there really is any cons to it. You may have to turn your heat up a notch in the winter but, that is about it.
The guys at W2W have done testing that shows how the #7 cylinder problems can be related to high engine temps since it gets less cooling than other cylinders. So anything you can do to help it out is good. Kinda like having a good safe tune to help it out too.(Had to throw that in there for the #7 bad tune debaters )
