what headers for a 370/f1-r setup

Default what headers for a 370/f1-r setup

guys what headers and wich one will fit my truck? i want to run the kooks headers. but wich ones should i go with 1 7/8x2 or 1 3/4 and for what application do i order them? This are going in a 370 w/ etp 245 heads, vic jr intake, f1-r procharger going to run 15psi to 20 psi.

kooks are nice,
i think dynatech has direct fit 1-7/8, with or without cats,

i run 1 7/8ths kooks in my boosted vette with a 346 and 20 pounds of boost. Of course in a vette vs. a truck I can give up low end....I think you should be ok.

No idea about the headers, but your truck is going to be an ANIMAL.

Actually I think Quik had some Kooks headers that were 1 7/8 stepped to 2. Pretty sure on a 2wd the Kooks f body headers will fit.

Saw a header test a couple of years or so back, maybe Car Craft or Hot Rod. I would definitely do 1 7/8 with your setup.

i would go 1 7/8 kooks or 1 7/8 stepped 2 inch if you can afford them Flaco is running them in his. you need the big diameter on larger motors. TSP just did a test. 1 3/4 vs 1 7/8 and up till 4800 rpms they were the same. from 4800+ the 1 7/8 gained nicely on a stock motor. you can find this test in the dyno section on tech

thanks guys ...i guess i will order the f-body race headers...1 7/8 x 2

their like 1200 bucks but are pretty headers
