Default What kit to go with? (gen 3)

Looking to turbo my 2004 RCSB. I’ve done some research and pre2020 it’s seems the KB kit or trick kit was the way to go.

I know KB is no longer a thing so I’m trying to decide which kit to go with.

I want to do 78/75 T4.

I'm leaning towards trick but a few people are suggestion Huron. Thoughts?

Trick vote here, can’t speak for Huron but on quality/fit but Rick’s (Trick) is top notch.

I hear the Huron and On3 kits aren't bad at all.

I've had a Trick kit for almost 5 years now and it has been fantastic.

I used the on3 kit for my dads 03 suburban. The only thing I dont like about it is the how close the exhaust is to the heater core lines and the turbo placement is meh. This requires you to remove/relocate the coolant expansion tank and bend the AC lines for them to clear. I made some heat sheilds for everything that was close. I am sure they have their reasons as to why it is placed there, there are probably some other/older/newer chassis that had different options that they were trying to make the log manifold universal for.
The turbo being far forward means you must use a 90 degree fitting in order to get an air filter on it. I actually was able to retain the stock airbox with some trimming and said 90* fitting, but we are only shooting for like 500hp so it works for us. Just a tow rig. Not really a problem for us but might be slightly inconvenient for those wanting to push more power.
Been on for 5 months 10,000 miles no issues, I dont really forsee any either. Welds and metal are all high quality. The passenger manifold must weigh 30lbs, it is a nice piece. Price point was good as well.

zero experience with turbo on a silverado, but Trick has been around for years supporting our members and continues to innovate their kits. I would look nowhere else if i was shopping a turbo kit for a silverado.
