I have a 2011 Silverado 5.3 ECSB Z71 4x4. My goal is to make it into the high 12s. If you could build for that goal what would you do? Keep in mind this is my daily driver. Right now it is on stock suspension and wheel/tire size. Later on down the road I may lift it and add bigger wheels and tires, but my 12 sec goal would be out the window at that point.
I am thinking about the radix 1900. What long tubes and or exhaust should I be looking at? I want it to sound healthy but not like a kid in high school. What torque converter and stall should I be looking at? Do I need to invest in an aftermarket tranny cooler? Oil cooler? What about a cam? Is there anything else I would need to do to the transmission, rear end, or engine? Any help is appreciated. I am about to invest a lot of money so I want to make sure I do it right the first time. Remember I just want to be able to run high 12s or even low 13s and still have a good daily driver.

TVS1900, stainless LT's merged into a 3.5" single, Yank SC3000 or Circle-D equivelant, tru-cool 40k cooler, Lingenfelter GT2-3 is a popular maggie cam but there are many others out there, I would at least add a shift kit and servo's to the tranny but dont expect it to last. To reach your goal of 12's your gonna need to be around 500rwhp and the only option for a tranny that is gonna last would be a built unit or a 4l80e swap. For the rear end you will need to add a Tru-Trac rear diff and you will be set there. Better plan on a 10k build if you decide to go with a built tranny

It can be done, I think sharpshooter has a 6in lift with 35's and is in the 12's. Use the search button and read a lot before you start start spending your money on parts. But to answer some of your questions: a radix is different from the tvs 1900 (newer model), most people go with a stall between 2600-3000 with a root style blower, a transmission cooler is always a good idea especially if you have a stall, and I would also suggest a tru track for the rear end.

Suggested mods are pretty much everything I have done to my truck(see sig.). VERY reliable and still maintains 17 mpg on the hwy.(5800lbs. too) I have no time slips as I have not been to the track. Very happy with my combination of mods to this truck, my family vehicle.
