Jackshaft version doesn't have a snout that the pulley has to clear on the back side. The 2.6 from south Florida pulley is the smallest you can get. Although I really question any benefit on a 93 octane setup since its going to get hot so quick. Maybe if you're running a ton of meth or e85...

When I called Magnacharger sometime back, he said ~10# was limit on a stock bottom 5.3 from a longevity standpoint & also u reach a point of dimishing returns due to that quick heat up, u speak of Cody. And likely barring IW or somethin similiar, to minimize slip, just on a stock Maggie pulley system

Tim, at this point why bother w/. the quick change adaptor? You've already spent the $ for the machinework fitted for 112's, & if they offer more pullies for such, I guess I'm not seeing the advantage.

Or, are u changing em out that often, that the "quick change part" offers greater benefit?
Hey Bud!

Stock bottom ends are proven for 8-900 horse with proper tuning. Im prob about 650 at the flywheel, im done adding boost haha.

You can buy 101mm pullies! They are made by Dayco, and are around 20$ at the local parts store! I have the part#'s when you need them. They really help with belt wrap.

As for the quick change adapter, its for the 4 bolt TVS style pullies and they make "RIP" pullies in that style for better belt grip, But alas i see now there only available for jackshaft models so im not going to be getting one.

I know the cranks are supposed to be tuff, & rod bolts could use an upgrade but on stock pistons? Cmon, F/I?

I ran 12 psi for almost 2 years without any issue, and got some 12.3 timeslips with it.

New exhaust system dropped me to 8 psi. I swapped my 3.0 pulley to a 2.8, and now I'm at 10 psi. Pulleyboys has a 2.6 pulley (unless I can find a used one) that should get me back up to 12 psi.

Could you send me a pic of the 101 mm Daycos, and the part #'s?

Thanks!

Its been proven Tom,

Ive been privy to riding in an 800 + hp GTO that runs mid 9's on stock bottom end and 20psi IIRC, He did bend the stock LS2 rods but no piston issues, its all in the tuning.

Now he runs a 100k 6.0 LQ4 and still runs mid 9's HAHA! LSx FTW!!

Now lets stop whoring this gentlemans Thread!!

Answer here is the 2.6 pulley is the smallest your gonna get for the Radix.

In all the years Ive been on this site Ive never seen a 2.6 for sale so you might just want to go ahead and order one
