True dat.... or just GO!
Have fun with what you got, push it as far as it will go and build a REAL engine when it crashes.
I'll probably be singing a different tune if mine blows on me.

This while I stockpile $$$$ for a larger forged engine with a bigger sc... right now I'm thinking F series Procharger with cogs.
I want 1000 hp.
I don't know why. It's really dumb. But... whadayagunnado?
I also want a sheet metal intake. I think they're really hairy.
Taking some time to get the $$ together might mean I'll come to my senses before I do it. Hell.... I think what I've got now is scary-fast!
But.... if I'm gunna do it I'd better git'r done before I get too old to drive the dammed thing.

2nd fastest 5.3 ECSB

I've been running 12lbs and a 75 shot for a while. I don't go WOT everyday or hit the nitrous everyday for that matter but I've made a good share of track runs with no signs of trouble.
I think if you have everything in line, parts, tune, you can make some big power with a 5.3 reliably.

Thanks everyone, I think for now I will just get a performabuilt or FLT next week , get a good tune maybe add 2 psi of boost and enjoy it until it breaks and save $$$ for a bigger motor and bigger blower.

Yep 12.5 lbs of boost on my bone stock 5.3 ly5 for the last six months no problems but tune is spot on. TUNE TUNE TUNE is key and common sense if you wot everyday its not going to last forever. Im getting ready to cam mine with a pat g cam and add some meth. No belt slip yet with the 3.0 pulley
