When getting blown, More ribs for more pleasure?
#11
I think the IW balancer has a key way already. My Eagle crank does not. I was going to pin it by drilling and installing dowels. Is one way better than the other? I assume a machine shop would be needed to cut the crank and can they even do that as the short block is 90% assembled?

Thanks KB!
I know I ask a lot of questions on here but I'm one of those people that when I am working on a project and I come across something that I don't have and then I have to order and wait a week for it to get here, I get super pissed I hate having to stop a project because I didnt do my homework.

My 3.1" pulley is pushing 12psi on my 6.0L. No sign of belt slip. I'd sure put it together with what you have now before dumping $ into more ribs (no matter the pleasure). With your cubes, heads, cam, etc, I'm thinking you're not going to see much over 10psi without spinning the snot out of your TVS. At some point, spinning the blower faster won't get you much. If you do see 10+psi, you're going to need to get ready to fix lots of chit.

If you didn't get the bolt with that balancer you bought, you need to get in touch with Innovator's West about the bolt. I think there's a teflon spacer that goes in there, somewhere, too.
