HPP performance in lewisville said they will do it for me.. problem is thier not wanting to replace the WHOLE 3" downpipe.. thier just wanting to replace the portion going over my axle that is crush bent and expand it to 3.5" (4" downpipe wont work not enough clearance since my truck is lowered) then after the axle will be a 3.5" SISO 20" oval magnaflow muffler..

my question is: is it pointless to even waste my money doing this if they arent increasing the size of the down pipe right AT the turbo?? he said it doesnt matter because its just a straight section about 1 foot long and has no restriction. but i kinda thing he just doesnt want to redo where my wastegate plumbs into.

here is a good pic showing the 3" downpipe coming out of the turbo.. HPP performance just wants to make the downpipe become 3.5" after the part that connects the wastegate..

Cant use 4" as it will not clear the bed and axle area cause i want a muffler
