I was looking at other turbos with 46 trim on the compressor. None of those could flow more than around 300cfm max. Even with twins you're still 550-600cfm (which will be beyond the high efficiency range of the turbo) and I believe you are choking the turbo.

I actually have four other sets of compressor housings and wheels. The reason i've gone so small is that i could not seem to get rid of surge at very low throttle levels. I thought it was my BOV, tried different settings, even tried a different BOV, and it still happened so i unplugged it and i realized that it was the turbos surging. It is pretty much gone now with these housings. Could my exhaust wheels be to big that they don't have the power to hold the compressors once the boost starts pushing back on them?
