I think the opposite would be true. I think the the heat in the air pre intercooler would evaporate more of the alcohol droplets than the cooler air post intercooler would. The more you evaporate the droplets, the more heat is removed from the air. The less you evaporate the droplets, the more heat you remove from the metal that the alcohol wets. When the inside of the manifold or intake port loses heat by evaporative cooling, that heat has to go into the air. Somwhat counter-productive. Also, if the droplets don't evaporate from air heat or hit metal and evaporate, they could possibly go through the combustion cycle unburnt. Those droplets poor little lives were wasted, as they did not contribute to cooling or combustion.

The lower intake had a spray bar for meth, but I was not confident in getting sustained, even distribution with it. Probably would have helped to cool that big chunk of billet though.

Meth bar has holes aiming at the runners.
Just need a nitrous jet and turn off that.
Its not 100% efficient there but being post IC its the best area.
Post blower pre ic would allow more heat absorb for air but now your pushing meth through an aluminum core. The core is thin aluminum and pure meth could damage/ corrode the fins. Over time.

That makes sense. It would have been a good test between the two. I actually never saw a difference in temps when spraying before the throttle body. I assumed it was the heat of all the aluminum it had to pass before the temp sensor.
