Default Whipple 3.3

is anyone running the whipple 3.3L blower?

Trying to get an idea of the power capabilities of the unit.

I believe someone is attempting to fit one on there truck or Suv, maybe they have already.. But non the less being a 3.3 I would say the blower itself should be capable of 1100-1200+

I think this would be a great one if some one has the skills to get it done. That's a whole lot of blower!

Yes, very true.. I dont think it would fit under the stock hood. I would like to see one on a GenIII though, Looks like allot of potential there for big #'s.

Yes I believe so, that would be one big SOB. It would be nice to see the 5.0L mounted on a nice classic BB Chevy.

Hopefully,my 3.3 Whipple should be on by this time next week.Probably another week to get everything tuned.

I was wondering how long you would hold out with the RADIX on your combo. Nice to see you didn't wait forever!

Check whipple's website. I was reading on it and they claim it is capable of 1000 hp at the flywheel. Looks pretty nasty to me. Better have some cash though. I think list price is around 6K with an addition 1500 for the 10 rib set up.
