Very very little, not enough to worry about being that it is sealing to a oring gasket.

O-ring gasket? I used RTV sealant like what came with the Whipple kit. Can you elaborate on the O-ring gasket, or do you have a picture?

Factory intake has a blue Oring style gasket on it, the 8.1 may be different.

Okay, yes the 8.1L has the standard paper/metal type gasket.

Ill do some checking around this week and see what I can find for Alum. If I do make some they will be decent priced, cost of materials plus a little for time and welding them up. Would all of you guys like bungs for the IAT's sensor as well? I have mine on the bottom of the flange so it is not very visable when looking at the engine, Ill try to find a pic of mine.

on that AIT, is that something aftermarket? i don't have any sensors after the s/c outlet. or is this something i should get in the process?

I'm considering relocating my IAT before I even install the whipple. Everyone says you get a more accurate reading right there on the elbow than in the stock location which get's move ahead of the blower.
