Whipple or Magnuson?

I have a 2.3 Whipple.
I have dealt with Whipple over the phone many times and have ALWAYS got an answer, a return phone call, or the part I wanted shipped quickly.
To order a part, you do need to download their order form, fill it out, and email it back. No biggee. After the first time I did this, my subsequent order they already had it on file and did not need me to do it again.
I have read a few people complain about their customer service on the internet as well but I have not had that experience.
I would buy another.

Just got off the phone w/Whipple and explained to the guy what I would like to do - add the 2900 to my truck. I have to be honest, I'm ready to pull the trigger on one or the other, but the guy I spoke to wasn't very helpful and seemed to not even care whether I bought the Whipple or not - very short with me. He said they would not supply the fuel system or the charge tube and I would have to modify my alternator bracket to make it work and it would cost $7,050.00. The Maggie kit comes with everything except the charge tube and, from my experience, they were much more helpful and interested in earning my business. Just sayin.

That's with the 2.9L Whipple (it's a Camaro tuner kit) you would have to get all the Camaro accessory pulley's etc except for the balancer in order to run the 2.9L on the truck.
The 2.3L complete kit, or the 2.3L tuner kit is what you probably want. This is what I am looking too.
Trying to make the same decision, between the Whipple and Maggie as well.

Actually, I was looking at doing the 2900 Camaro blower on my truck because of the size and design of that unit. Magnuson makes the 2300 and then the 2300 jackshaft which is a similar design to the Whipple 2900. The Maggie kit is built specifically for your application and is a complete kit which only requires a charge tube where Whipple is telling me I would have to supply the whole fuel system and charge tube.
I'm not looking to break any land speed records in a heavy *** truck, I just want it to get out of it's own way faster. So I'm back to a TVS2300 or Whipple 2.3L
