merc has 3 different supercharged sterndrive engines, the king dick of the lineup (1075SCI) has 2 Lysholme blowers at 1075HP.

worth mentioning that their inline (i-6 and i-4) 4 stroke outboards also have lysholme blowers and have been selling like hotcakes. some of the castings appear to be made in-house at merc, but who knows how much work they farm-out to lysholme. http://www.mercuryverado.com

If you guys dont want a ton of low end torque, then whipple, and autorotor(Kenne Bell) arent the superchargers for you. Im in no way, an expert but i do know that the twin screw superchargers and even the Eaton are designed for low end power. With the factory Eaton on my Lightning, my torque peaks(470rwtq) at around 3200rpm. Your best bet would be to go centrifigal, or turbo. That way it will spool up a little later.

OK, the new system is not going be kitted for trucks any time soon. The biggest problem is that the system will not fit under the hood...

That's ridiculous! Just when you think whipple is about to turn it around, they do something even more stupid. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. There's quite a bit of room under the hoods of our trucks compared to other vehicles.
