Whipple reliability?

Whipple reliability?
So, I decided to go for a Whipple on my 2016 Silverado but I was just curious about the reliability? Its not going to be a max effort setup or anything so I won’t be pushing it that hard. I just want to add a little pep to my daily driver. They look like a pretty good system and there’s lots of good feedback. My only concerns are that where I live it will see temps around -50F as long as I let it warm up before its driven it should be ok, I assume? Lastly, I was just looking at all the forums and what not and it seems that the Mopar crowd is having all kinds of issues I assume this is mostly due to them over spinning them? I was just wondering if there was any insight to what they may have gone on because after reading a 10-page thread about it I’m shook lol.

I originally was thinking a 2650 would be the way to go (we installed one on a coworkers truck this summer) but a friend of mines shop just became a whipple dealer. I figured i would do business with them. Also at the lower power levels I will be at it shouldnt really matter i was just seeing what peoples experience has been like with whipple.

72k on my 2014 RC 2.9 with 86k on the truck. Never have had any issues except the actuator had a leaking diaphragm a few yrs ago but the blower's been faultless. There was a 6 week backorder when I pulled the trigger on my 2020 CC so I went 2650 but at a high price. The 5.3/6spd RC runs identical to the 6.2/10spd CC as far as MPH in the 1/8th, I like both blowers the same for my purpose. Upgrade to LT 4 fueling while you're at it if you're getting a custom tune to run E. Better now than later. I think you'll be happy.
