Default Who daily drives a procharged truck?

Since iv switched my gears out to 4.56s, I'm not sure I will be able to load a turbo enough. I've read that prochargers love big gears and rpms. How do you like DD your procharger? I'm thinking about maybe a p1 with a pulley making 10lbs around 6200 rpms. Try and bring boost in earlier. I'm not in any hurry, 6L80e has to go in first. The truck is a NNBS 5.3, it will most likely get a cam. I want to stay 5.3, that way if I blow it up they r only 500 bucks for another one haha.

Thought?

Mine is my DD. It's getting rebuilt at the moment and will have a 3200 stall along with the 3.73 factory gears and a bunch of other goodies. I think the procharger setup and how it builds boost is very street friendly

I love it. around town I am always on it but once on HWY I can clip along and still get good MPG

I daily drive mine and it spools up pretty quick, I think I'm right around 10lbs at about 4500 rpms and right around 11-12 at 6600. I'm running a LS2 bored .20 over with 3.73's and 3200 stall. Very street friendly when driving normally as your in vacuum most the time, but when you lay into it, its another animal.

I've been procharged for 11-12 years , my wife drove it to and from work for 5 years - very street friendly , depending on your foot - I'm still running the same original short block that's had over 50'000 boosted miles on it / the first 10 years were cammed with 9lbs

4 years so far, has been trouble free for the most part. If you havn't already bought one wait to find a D1. It is a big difference over the P1. Been there done that.
