P1SC and stock 3.55,s 4x4 and auto 4.6 to a 5.0 the only issue i had was the belt kept gettin eatin by the pullys for the charger.

thanks for everyones input. I know sureshot and sharpshooter are both lifted trucks that run Pros. I want to base a set-up similar to theirs. Smaller pulley with shorter shift points. But they both run 6.0s
Did that comment hurt a lil naldie just messin with ya man. When you gonna get that beast back on the streets of Mexico.

Am I right in my thinking that a turbo would be pointless with my gears?

I dd my truck in between broken transmissions, lol. It's streetable no problem but how the hell are you guys gettin decent mileage out of these things? I have a low mile lq4 in my truck now and with the cam, converter, 4.10 gears and the d1 if I see 14-15 mpg highway I'm doing good...I don't even want to talk about city mileage. Think I might have a problem somewhere causing my fuel mileage to suffer? I used to get nearly 20 or even a bit more on the highway but that was ages ago.

ya if everything goes as planned, the truck will be paid off soon. Then I will start looking for some more HP for this truck.

Procharger seems like it would be fun, but since I tow with the truck I may have to rethink it. I've got a little bit of time to think.

Mine is a DD also, has about 40k on it with the procharger. Running a d1 pushing 10lbs down my lil 4.8. First issue I had was the 4l60e letting go, and that was may 3k or so ago. Last I checked, was around 16mpg city and 20ish hwy. As long as you keep your foot out of it, it acts like stock.

Converter and gears is why your fuel mileage sucks

I think an mp112 would be better suited down low, but since iv got the gears now who knows what i'll do lol. If truck doesn't get FI it will get a cam only 6.0 at the very least. It needs something lol.
