Who here has ran the "Texas mile" in Thier boosted truck??
Just wondering how safe it is? I've only gotten my truck up to 130 once then the wind force really starts to lift the truck. I think I could do a 140-150 mph in the mile what do u guys think? What could I do to make my truck safer to run over 140mph?

never done the mile but my truck is dropped, only been around 150 in it a few times, NOT a good feeling haha! Plus overdrive in boost is not something I enjoy doing on a stock block. I would say shoot for 140's, In the mile with the hp and 1/4 mile mph you are, should be ok!

I hit 160 one time, was gonna keep holding it but blew a coupling off. It was suprisingly smooth, wouldnt do it again tho. One screw up and your deader than dead. Ive only ridden in a stock titan and we only hit 100, not sure how they handle any more speed.
Give it a try. And watch for KR, IATs start climbing pretty good close to the end.

I'm installing a stage 2 snow performance meth kit with a 2.5 gallon reservoir. Hopefully this will keep IAT's down. I looked on Thier site and drag radials are not permitted so I guess ur forced to use street tires. Think my 22/305/40 hankook ventus RH-ST-06 Would work mph wise? Main thing I'm worried about is all the air getting under the truck and floating me off the road..

the rating on the tires have to match the speeds you plan to reach! ex, 140+ z rated tires..... becomes a huge factor with big trucks cause those sizes are short!!!!!
I think that is correct info, i know that the tires have to be rated but not sure what mph z rating starts and so forth.
