i think blown06 is/was with his procharger, and stock48 also has stock 317s iirc on his 4wd. those are just the first two that pop in my head, sure there are many more..
15-20lbs is reasonably doable on stock stuff, its 20+ imo where it gets a little iffy with the stock style heads, in the end it all comes down to no detonation to keeping them flat obviously..

I'm running almost 20psi using E85. IMHO its fuel vs. timing that allows me to run higher boost. More boost = less timing. But everyone just looks at how much boost you can run. I'm able to run 19 degrees of timing with E85 and with gasoline I don't think I could run 8 degrees with 20psi without blowing it up.

I started tuning with E85 at 12 degrees and worked it up to 21 without knock. So I backed it off a couple and called it good. Put about 15k miles on this build with a fair bit of WOT running.

How does the power compare between gas and e85 on the same boost?

Like others, I'm curious too, whats your full setup list, and got any times? How does the power compare between gas & E85 on the same boost? I know that E85 has a higher OCT. rating & it goes thru E85 at a quicker rate than gas itself. But I'd love to see some numbers.

I ran stock heads on 15 lbs. I also tried 18 lbs and it was a beast but didn't get a chance to run it at the track.

Forged 6.0, cam, heads plus the full bolt on setup with a 25% OD cogged TVS2300, Innovators Crank Pulley and a 3.0 front pulley. Including fuel system that will support 1500hp on gas.

This truck hasn't been to the track and probably won't ever make it to one.

I've never done any comparisons sorry. But I can run a lot more timing with the E85

Comparing gas and E85 at the same almost 20psi is something I wouldn't do. I don't think I could get close to 20psi on pump gas without blowing it up.

My fuel mileage did go down but only about 10%. I run the AFR in the 15 range at cruise. Again sorry no track times only a few GTech runs. And when I had it on the dyno it was still blowing belts so I never got a full run on it. So how is that for worthless information:nunchuk1:

pretty worthless , but seriously what heads, comp ratio, and fuel system break down?(pump/s line and rail size). also you should at least get it on the dyno again and get some numbers..
