I am actually thinking about doing the same thing. I inquired about a kit on Friday. If I get it, I will let you know.

I run water/alky injection on every pump gas blown motor, intercooled or not. It will allow more timing/boost, and there's where the power comes from. If you don't add timing or boost with it don't expect much if any difference in performance.

Well I have a 04 SSR 5.3 super charged and put a alky injection on it last year, Put a stronger tune in it and it run worse, Tried 50-50 water alky and that was even worse, Without the alky I was running 13.20's @ 103, That was coming off the line at 1/4-1/2-3/4 and then full on the gas to keep the tires from going up in smoke, The truck weighs 5080 lbs. with me in it, I was just about ready to stop with the alky spray and a guy on this forum helped me with a few tunes and I drooped to a smaller pulley, Drove it to the strip on pump gas, My 2nd. run was a 12.70 @ 108 killing the tires in 2nd. and we still need to work on the tune, It is 9.5 FA, So if I could ever get tires and a tune it would put a 5,000+ lb truck in the 11's that gets 22 mpg with the a/c on and you can drive cross country if you wanted without a worry

I have installed and tuned Alkycontrol systems on Radix and Vortec blown trucks. If you do not tune for it you will gain nothing. On most trucks in the 7-8 psi range I have made 50-60 more hp with the meth but you have to tune for it. These systems used 100%meth.

Do these systems only spray when you are in boost? How is the spray controled?

They have adjustable units that work off the maf or boost level. You can set the start level and then a full-on level, and it's a linear pump speed increase from one to the other.
