Default Wideband placement...sts guys step inside please

so where are you guys putting your widebands at? I know on my front mount we put it in the DP but that's an awful long ways back there on a rear mount...any info is appreciated

A buddy of mine has his about .5-1ft behind the turbo... The only problem i saw in the logs was the 1st frame of a quick throttle transition was usually lean, IMO due to the far back placement..


Right at the Y-pipe merge (preTurbo) i think would be a good spot...

thats kinda what i was thinkin corey but i didn't know if would get an accurate reading there

we got accurate readings, which were confirmed by Justin. It was just tuning out the transients in the logs that was a PIA....

personally i think having the O2 sensor Pre-Turbo makes more sense since it would be closer but all the instructions i have read is to have it post turbo... We had good sucess having it post turbo on Kenny's (05stepside) truck

most of them are supposed to be between 6-18 inches from the exhaust outlet of the turbo IICR. But with it being a rear mount im not too sure... i would still say go post turbo that way your reading your final af/r... IMO

Looking at Parish's rear mount turbo build, he put is after the turbo. I trust his work more than most people... See it in the pic.

I agree with you Corey! haha parish is a god when it comes to turbo setups and whatnot... plus he tuned that thing himself i believe and put down 3xxhp and 43xtq on a stock v6. must be doing something right
